Both TDS Single and Dual Weight Systems when used with the BCD Backplate Straps and BCD Catch Tabs, are designed to work seamlessly with Technical/Wing BCDs that utilise a webbing harness and Backplate (such as the Halcyon Harness Systems).
Two important elements that will determine if your BCD is compatible:
• It has a webbing harness to which the ‘Female Buckles’ can be threaded up onto the shoulder straps to receive the ‘Male Buckles’ of the TDS Weight Vest.
• It has a Backplate that features two free vertical slots, either side of the backplate spine, located at the lower back position. AND/OR space between the backplate spine and wing, located at the lower back position. Either of these features will serve as the connection point through which to thread the BCD Backplate Straps in order to securely attach the Cummerbund Sides.
